BimBi Italiani is proud to support and actively participate in the โNon Sono Emergenzaโ campaign by โCon I Bambiniโ to shed light on the challenges faced by adolescents. ๐ฃ๐ซ
๐ What We Do: BimBi Italiani is committed to raise awareness on the difficulties adolescent face and promote the protaginsm of new generations, especially third-culture teenagers living abroad. ๐๐ฆ๐ง
๐น Unique Challenges: These young people face unique challenges especially when adapting to new cultural contexts and environments. Often, they experience social discomfort caused by separation between their roots and the surrounding environment. ๐๐
๐น Limited Support: It is crucial to recognize that unfortunately today third-culture teenagers have limited support options for both themselves and their families. BimBi Italiani recently shed the lights on their difficultities through special episodes on "Attacchiamo Bottone" with Vita da Expat focused on Third-Culture Kids and the challenges of moving with adolescents. ๐๏ธโจ
๐ฌ What We Have Done: The Attacchiamo Bottone episodes targeting adolescente not only explored the specific issues they face but they also provide practical support for families navigating this complex reality. ๐๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ
๐ฎ Looking Ahead: BimBi Italiani aims to expand its support network for adolescent and their families by raising awareness on the difficulties they and creating a network of experts in the field. This includes implementing globally accessible online support groups, offering families resources and qualified support regardless of their geographical location. ๐๐ฌ
๐ช Our Commitment: With our ongoing commitment, we aim to raise awareness on the reality of third-culture teenagers and to provide concrete resources to support families worldwide. ๐๐
