Let’s bring the world into your class or room, one letter at a time!
“Amici di Penna” - pen pal - cultural project by BimBi Italiani ETS connects classes and groups in Italy and abroad through letters, postcards, and creative materials. Open to children and teens of all nationalities, it promotes Italian language and culture, writing, and intercultural dialogue.
A Shared Educational Experience
Letter writing offers a practical opportunity to use Italian, share experiences, and discover new perspectives. Teachers and educators integrate the exchange into their curriculum or centre activities, supporting participants as they build new friendships.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each class or group is matched with a partner in Italy or abroad, with compatible ages and profiles.
BimBi Italiani searches for a partner based on the applications available. The exchange begins once a compatible match has been found and both organisations have confirmed their commitment.
Teachers and educators coordinate the preparation and exchange of letters, postcards, and creative materials.
BimBi Italiani manages the matching process, provides operational guidelines, and collects final feedback.
Each organisation appoints a coordinator responsible for managing and supervising the exchange.
Writing is a simple act
but it can spark something extraordinary!
